Printer-friendly version
18-03-19 to 21-03-19
Event format:
CompleNet is an international conference on complex networks that brings together researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines—from sociology, biology, physics, and computer science—who share a passion to better understand the interdependencies within and across systems. CompleNet is a venue to discuss ideas and findings about all types networks, from biological, to technological, to informational and social. It is this interdisciplinary nature of complex networks that CompleNet aims to explore and celebrate.

Submissions of xtended abstracts to the 10th CompleNet conference are encouraged. The two types of presentations will be Oral Presentations and Posters. All oral presentations will take place in a single plenary session, offering heightened exposure and integration across topics and expertise.
Please log in to Easychair here: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=complenet19 and follow the instructions under the tab “New Submission”.

Authors are encouraged to submit their contributions on their research in complex networks. Both theoretical and applied contributions are of interest. Specific topics of interest are include (but are not limited to):

Applications of Network Science
Human Behavior & Social Influence
Community Structure
Complex Networks and Mobility
Biological Systems
Dynamics on and of Networks
Ecological Networks
Network Topology and Geometry
Impact Performance and Success Prediction
Social Media
Social Networks
Multiplex and Temporal Networks
Network Controllability and Resilience
Science of Science

Types of Contribution

CompleNet accepts contributions in the form of long and short papers (not previously published) and extended abstracts (about published or unpublished research). Each submission will undergo blind review by at least two referees on the Scientific Committee. Full papers will be peer reviewed and, if accepted, included in the Proceedings of the conference edited by Springer.

All contributions can be accepted for either an oral presentation or a poster. For space reasons, some oral presentations may ultimately be accepted as posters. If you prefer to send your submission directly as a poster, you will be able to do so in the EasyChair submission process.
Submission format

Submitted papers should follow the Springer format and not exceed 12 pages if submitted as long papers, or 8 pages if submitted as short papers. Page limits include all references, figures, tables, captions, and other display items. Due to space constraints, some works submitted as long papers may ultimately be accepted as short papers. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings in Springer’s Complexity series. Authors can use either the LateX or Word template to generate a PDF for the submission. After acceptance, however, authors will be asked for LaTeX source (not Word) for inclusion in the proceedings.

Extended abstracts

Extended abstracts should be a minimum of one page and maximum of two pages in length (standard US Letter or DIN-A4, 1-inch margins, 10-point font, single-spaced), and should be submitted in PDF format. Each abstract should include exactly one figure, with caption. Please note that this figure, as well as any references, are included within the two-page limit.

Submissions that that do not satisfy the above requirements will not be considered.
