The workshop will aim to provide a forum for microeconomic theorists working in Glasgow and other Scottish Universities for interaction with each other and with distinguished keynote speakers.

Kojima Fuhito (Stanford University), Navin Kartik (Columbia University) and John KH Quah (Johns Hopikns University) have agreed to be keynote speakers.

 

The workshop will aim to

  • Provide a forum for microeconomic theorists working in Glasgow and other Scottish Universities for interaction with each other and with distinguished keynote speakers.
  • Provide an opportunity for PhD students in Glasgow and other Scottish universities to interact with distinguished keynote speakers and faculty working in microeconomic theory.

Submissions in all areas of mechanism design and behavioural economics (either theoretical or empirical) are welcome. Preference will be given to completed papers.

Notification of Acceptance: About 20 days after the submission deadline.

 

Practicalities
Lunches, coffee breaks and a social dinner will be offered by the organization. There are no registration fees for this workshop. We may be in the position of covering accommodation costs.

The plan is to have 30 minutes for the presentation of accepted papers. Participants (either faculty or PhD students) who do not necessarily want to present papers are also warmly welcome.
